Every month, CARACOL MARKETPLACE offers free Health & Wellness Workshops to promote wellness and healthy living, encourage community participation, and share knowledge of traditional and alternative forms of healing. In June, we are happy to have two of our very own Caracol Marketplace artisans presenting for you!

*2:00 PM "Alternatives to Vaccinations: Essential Oils for Babies and Children"
*3:00 PM "I Made Almond Milk. What Do I Do With the Pulp?!"

All workshops will begin promptly at the noted times. Don't forget paper & pen to take notes!

2:00 PM Workshop #1: "Alternatives to Vaccinations: Essential Oils for Babies and Children" presented by Olivia P. Biera
*Join Healing Arts Expert Olivia P. Biera of OPB Consulting to explore the tried and true methods of using Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils to combat and prevent bacterial and viral infections in children and the entire family. All are welcome for hands-on application and take-home samples. This will be a fun and interactive workshop that will empower your ability to consider alternative healing for your family. Even if you don't have children, you will learn simple, basic, easy self care with Essential Oils of the highest frequencies.

3:00 PM Workshop #2: "I Made Almond Milk. What Do I Do With the Pulp?!" presented by Araceli Silva
*If you joined us last season for the Nut Milk Workshop, you may have wondered what to do with the leftover pulp. This will be a follow-up workshop to learn how to turn the almond pulp into delicious treats, salad topping, and Mock Tuna. Yes, you will be sampling yummy treats! Plus, Araceli will give a demonstration of how to make the nut milk again for those that missed out on her last workshop.
*Check out Araceli’s blog for other nutritional information and delicious recipes: http://eatingcolorful.blogspot.com/

All workshops are FREE! Everyone is welcome!
